A different way of looking

An image is
only the beginning.

A name, an archetype, a meaning

The image has a name; its subtitle names the energetic archetype. The storybook adds a meaning keyword. For example: Dolphin is the card, Wisdom is its archetype, and Insight is its meaning.

Six edges. Three traditions.

Each card carries two Tarot, two Astrology and two I Ching influences around its six borders. When adjoining symbols touch, they add another layer of meaning. The card’s position and relationships matter, not just its individual keyword.

Three realms, one journey

Deep blue borders mark the Material Plane (body, cards 1–21); black the Ethereal Realm (mind, 22–42); gold the Spiritual Realm (soul, 43–63). These coexist, rather than forming a hierarchy. White-bordered Child 0 is both the beginning and return, completing the 64-card world.

Three traditions. A connected whole.

Three traditions.
Six influences.

Each card carries two Tarot influences, two Astrological influences and two I Ching influences. Benjamin combines them into one archetypal meaning rather than presenting three separate readings.

Archetypal themes

Tarot

Major and Minor Arcana influences introduce human experiences, qualities and lessons.

Planetary & zodiac qualities

Astrology

Planet and star-sign symbols contribute another perspective on the card’s character and energy.

Situations of change

I Ching

The Book of Changes contributes patterns of transition, choices and ways of responding.

The name above the image identifies the card. The title below names its energetic archetype. Begin with those two clues, then use the storybook to explore the card’s meaning.

When two hexagons meet along an edge, their border symbols form a touchpoint. The companion book explains how to interpret that pairing as another layer of the reading. Cards stay upright; the Creatrix does not use reversed-card meanings.

The physical companion storybook

More than a title.
A meaning to explore.

365 pages to explore

Each card begins with a concise essence and an energetic archetype. Its overview then explores the image, mythology, practical meaning, shadow or warning, and the lesson it offers.

The book also explains the Tarot, Astrology and I Ching influences, with a poem for each archetype, quick-reference meanings and instructions for different spreads.

This is the physical companion storybook included in the box set. The free Part One ebook is a separate digital story; it is not this companion guide and includes no physical cards.

The architecture of the oracle

Body. Mind.
Spirit.

Benjamin organises the deck into three groups of 21. Their coloured borders mark three aspects of experience—not three separate decks or a ranking of people.

01–21 · Deep blue borders

The Material Plane

The body and the world of action: everyday circumstances, relationships and the lessons of lived experience.

Meet Lighthouse · 16

22–42 · Black borders

The Ethereal Realm

The inner world of thoughts, dreams, desires and emotions, explored through planetary and zodiac characters.

Meet Virgin · 35

43–63 · Gold borders

The Spiritual Realm

The deeper journey of awareness and connection: a space to explore wisdom, release and the higher self.

Meet Dolphin · 49

And one traveller: Child, card 0, carries the Orphan archetype. Its white border marks the beginning and return of the journey, completing the 64-card world. Earth, Fire and Truth are the transition cards between these stages.

A first reading

Begin simply.
Build the reading.

The companion book offers one-card readings through to a seven-card Divine Wheel. Start with the image and its meaning before adding the border connections.

  1. 01

    Choose a question

Take a quiet moment, draw one card and turn it face up with its name at the top. Look at the image, its name and its archetype.

  2. 02

    Find its meaning

Read the concise essence, then the overview. Consider both the helpful qualities and the shadow or warning in relation to your question.

  3. 03

    Add context

For a fuller reading, follow a spread in the storybook. Its three-card method considers the present circumstance, the path towards hopes and desires, and the spiritual outcome.

  2. E · EssenceThe energy of the situation and the choice it brings.
  3. A · AwarenessWhat the conscious mind needs to recognise.
  4. R · RhizomeThe root: a lesson or support carried from the past.

  6. I · IntuitionWhat instinct and the subconscious bring forward.
